I told Phil that as he’s setting up his new place, he may want wireless for a laptop or his visitors. DD-WRT has aftermarket firmware for routers, so one can turn a $50 router into a $600 device just with new firmware. It might be able to save you a few shekels if you want fancy features/more power without the cost.
